Hello, I’m an Applied Scientist at Microsoft Xbox Game Studios in Redmond, where I work on developing AI for automated game-playing.
I have a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, advised by Prof. Shlomo Zilberstein. My Ph.D. research broadly focused on reinforcement learning, real-time planning, and metareasoning for autonomous decision-making under constraints such as time, data and safety; specific focus areas included safe-RL, offline-RL, meta-RL, robotics and autonomous vehicles.
Before my Ph.D., I was a research engineer at Singapore Management University, working with Prof. Pradeep Varakantham and Prof. Akshat Kumar on AI-driven solutions for large-scale constrained resource allocation. My work experience also includes an internship at Microsoft Xbox Game Studios, where I worked on developing game-playing AI; a software engineering position at Walmart e-commerce; and an internship at Amazon, working on Prime Video. I completed my B.E. (Hons.) in Computer Science from BITS-Pilani, India, in 2015.
